2 nights, 3 days in the Microvasion! Superbly equipped cottage, cozy bed and very comfortable! The cottage stands out because it floats and has a roof that allows you to see the stars as if you were laying outside, with a hammock bed suspended above the water. The equipment is brand new and everything works perfectly. The owners are very welcoming and offer a 5-star service while being discreet. I recommend it to people in the region who want to get away from it all without driving too far, and I recommend that people from outside the Abitibi region drive there for a chance to get away from it all in a unique place! We’ll definitely be back.

One Monday in the fall, I got behind the wheel of my car with my little backpack and some food to escape for 24 hours to Audacieuses Évasions. When I arrived at my destination, the sun was shining and the autumn wind with its beautiful coloured leaves was there to greet me. My luggage was given a 4-wheeler ride while I wandered through a small forest filled with pretty fairy lights where I found a hot tub and a fireplace. When I got to the dock to access my pretty cottage, the scenery was magnificent.
I made the most of every minute, reading my book, burning several logs, doing crosswords, enjoying the hot tub, the moonrise, the stars and the balmy weather.
Everything was perfect!

In the past, I’ve gone on outings, activities and holidays… as a family with my sister, my parents, my children or my friends… never alone. For the first time, and certainly not the last, I took a 24-hour holiday for myself, by myself.
I’d noticed some floating cottages a while back. Then I checked out the company website and so on. Until one morning I decided, on a whim, to contact them and book myself a cottage for a few days later that weekend. That’s how I ended up spending 24 hours relaxing and enjoying some quality time at Audacieuses Évasions.
The owners are welcoming and everything you need is provided (all you have to bring is clothes, food and any leisure activities of interest). The cottage is comfortable. The scenery is just breathtaking ! I was able to relax in the NANOVASION with the comfort of the neurobed while being rocked by the waves. After leaving the cottage, I ended the day with a short morning walk to the observatory and the footbridge over the Preissac rapids.
If you want to be treated like royalty, this is the place
Our experience at Audacieuses Évasions was unique. We enjoyed a warm welcome and the owners were very attentive all weekend. We had the opportunity to bike on the water, scooter and kayak. The view from our floating cottage was simply amazing. It’s an activity to do again and again.
